so all roads in Bulgaria are like that?
Not all, but a lot of roads are aktually like that. Ofcourse there are also some poor roads, but a lot of roads nowadays are like that. But no, they are not like that one. They are better. Yes, when you do not travel frequently though the countries, it is indeet the same price in slovenia, since people who drive there sometimes will buy the month vigniette instead. That is also expensive then. But when you consider that you are allowed to go through Slovenia as many times as you want, it is not that expensive anymore.

How come there are no photos of that Bulgarian roads here in SSC all we can see are mostly run down motorways. It is strange that national roads are in better condition than motorways.

And seldom people travel that frequent trough Slovenia it is mostly 2 a year. So do your maths.

It is cause they just don't show them and not a lot of pics are taken. People take pics of Hemus motorway a lot which has some very bad parts indeet. But they would not show videso of new and good motorways like this one here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzuCq...layer_embedded

This is a very good nationalroad and a lot others are like that in Bulgaria aswell.

not entirely. in each country you will find grade separated intersections. when they are ALL grade separated on a road, then we consider that road as something special. till then it is normal appereance and isn't worth or mentioning.

But noever mind Bad hafen, I do not like Bulgaria a lot. I don't like the people there, the girls don't look good at all, most of them. The traditions are rediculous and Bulgarians love to show off driving expensive cars and so on. However there are some very intelligent Bulgarians that are way different and hopefully one of them is sitting in the government and directing things the right way. But don#t worry, he will be thrown out of the parliament cause the people are merciless and can't appreciate anything.

Serbia is the largest exporter of raspberries in the world

And when we sneak into the EU and get access to those German filled funds we will build even more.

Didn't the sale of former state companies bring in a whole lot of money? I mean for a couple of billion € you can build a lot of motorways.

not really, privatisation was disaster.

Serbia is like Smurfland, the economy is based on selling all those smurfberries.

Btw the bridge is beautiful, but Singi you know better not to post 50 photos in one post.

Tell me one EE country where the privatization money was spent on a public cause? Plus they didn't really bring a lot of money due to our own stupidity, for an example the whole oil industry together with refineries, oil fields in Angola, gas station network, real estate like hotels and of course with a monopoly clause in the contract, was given away for a mere 400 mln (around the same time just one house, Villa Leopolda was sold to a Russian billionaire for more money and just for comparison, the bridge with adjoining infrastructure on the previous page costs the same amount) to Gazprom because the former Govt thought this was the best way to cherish our relations with Russia.

It's also a perfect description for the situation in Romania.

True! I even expressed my hope last year when I heard the news about privatization that the Serbian Gov won't make the same mistake as the Romanian Gov made with the funds from privatizations in the past decade.

Here, the money have been put into a so-called Development Fund, who is supposed to finance investments, but they were used instead to cover the budget deficit. This year, another wave of privatizations will follow, and the money will go again in the Development Fund. Hopefully, the money resulted will be used to the construction of some non-EU funded motorways, though the experience so far shows us otherwise.
