So basically a lot of shaking and jumping (and hard) in Serbia, but felt nothing in Bulgaria?

I remember back in my case the 80´s when I was taking the trip from Szfvár. (HU) to a little village not far from lake-Balaton in every second weekend to visit my grandpa..., Anyway...... M7 was like hell. I am not talking about holes, there were none, but the old bad concrete "plates" gave the sound like a train.

That's, of course, done on purpose - I think people should pay equal attention to the international part of this great forum (at least the important threads) as they do to the their own local forum

Radi is right. This photo is deceiving, because it shows only the new half of the motorway Novi Sad - Horgoš. Please photo the other (old) part and post it here.

I'm completely aware of reality, but this post was pointed to Radi's fascination of shiny crash barriers.

I see someone has dusted off the old record.

Was there a motorway opening yesterday? (Novi Sad - Srboban - planned for August 1st).

No, the opening was unfortunately delayed for two-three days due to last weeks strike & blockade by unpaid employees of one of the companies involved in the construction.
Long story

The problem is that the company owner is in jail.

Serbia...nothing can ever go smoothly

Btw, the first major, Chinese-led infrastructure project is off to a flying start...the first group of Chinese workers & engineers has arrived and is now busy building a so-called "Chinatown" - housing facilities for three hundred Chinese workers that will be employed on the construction site of Belgrade's second Danube bridge:

The bridge, with a total length of ~1500 meters, will cost some 170 million euros - with official opening scheduled for 2014.

This new Danube crossing is a key part of a planned city ring-road, marked here as "SMT":

Thanks for the update. Seems like the Chinese have mastered the game of capitalism these days.
