You cannot teach somebody that Vienna is right, but Beč, Wien, Becs or Dunaj is wrong. Places have different names in different languages. Be a little bit tolerant. The guy maybe does not know the serbian name. Or will you attack me if I say Belgrade instead of Beograd?

Problem is I tried to spell it how fellow Albanians pronounce it. Lets not get dizzy over this.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they finish that network by ~2020/2022. Seems quite possible to me.

BTW, they should link Kragujevac and Pozega; Sabac and Bijeljina(Rep. Srpska) and Ruma-Novi Sad....

Well, it all depends on how fast will they perform the construction.

P.S: @niskogradnja and shpirtkosova I don't want to see fighting again in this topic, so I won't answer anything.

With increased construction expierience they should do it faster as time passes + the financial part should look brighter in a couple of years(can't get much worse than it is today at least in Serbia); I'm rather confident.

It would be good if they could speed up the process in 5 years, but since the budget will be bigger and bigger because Serbia is developing, yes this network could be build sooner than expected.

Yes, but this conversation is in English language. In case of Kuršumlija, there is no English variant, so local variant is used. When you write in other language, use that language's variant.

In case of Beograd, there is Albanian variant: Beogradi.

My point exactly.

P.S: @darko06 Ok, but we're using English language.

I for one won't have any problem if you would refer to my hometown as Temisvar instead of Timisoara, since it had in history many Serbian inhabitants, it still has some Serb minority, Serb school, etc.

Hell, I call it in German, Temeswar, Temeschburg, since I am German speaking.
The only problem I would see is if the other people wouldn't know what city it's about, so then I would advise also putting the official or English name.

I have to say, I didn't know Vienna/Wien/Viena (in Romanian), is called Becs/Bec, if someone would have told me about it, I would have asked what is he talking about .

Another 16 years for something that costs only EUR 7 billion?

Approximately 1000 km for 16 years ... it's about 60km per year ...

I wouldn't mind that sort of tempo - for a country like Serbia, with its size & economy, 60km of motorways per year is just about right. Maybe sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less.

Personally, I wouldn't like to see Croatia's mitakes repeated in Serbia - where due to exteme spending on road infrastructure, other infrastructure, such as railways, have been neglected to the point where people have died in easily avoidable rail accidents, as happened recently near Split.

As far as I am informed, the state of Serbian Railways is in much worse condition than of Croatian Railways, especially the state of infrastructure. And two years ago is not recently, would you agree?

Guys, I think you all understood when I used "Kushimlija" and clearly stated that this is how fellow Albanians pronounce the name.. I tried to get as close as possible to the Serbian version. I grew up in a 100% Albanian speaking village and never had any contacts with the Serbs of Kosovo when I was growing up. I can only say Hello, Thank you and "how are you" and the usual swear words in Serbian, thats about it... I came here to ask a question about roads, not to be lectured on the Serbian language....

PS. My keyboard does not have "š" anyway so it would be almost impossible to get correct spelling, I am terribly sorry if I have offended any of you... Now lets get back to the topic please!?!
