Belgrade Bypass - Sector (B) - 5 construction update (December 27th, 2011) from Beobuild:

Some info about this section:

Sector (B)-5 will connect the Orlovaca interchange with Circular Road. This sector is one of the toughest and most expensive parts of the bypass, primarily because of the terrain on which is being built. Only sector (B)-5, which is currently under construction, contains three bridges where the first is 563 meters long, second 73 meters and third in total length of 631 meters. This sector besides the bridge structures at a length of nearly 1,300 meters also includes the tunnel “Stazevica "which has an impressive length of 745 meters.

Yes, I think. With my own brain.
I don't need the government to tell me if I live in a rich and prosperous country or in a poor one with bad economy (which btw govt. officials would never say).

Filip do you work for the government of Serbia or something? In case you haven't been to Serbia lately life is very hard, prospects low, outlook gloomy, at least for now. You must be realistic.

Oy vey

Well, since we are already on the subject of economy, heres an interesting map I came across the other day - showing how construction of Corridor 10 has benefited various cities & towns along it, helping attract an increasing flow of foreign investment & new jobs:

No. Where did you get that idea!? I live in Belgrade in case you still haven't figured it out...

Serbia is developing, sometimes faster, sometimes slower (like now) but the bottom line is that the economy is always growing.

Do you even know that the whole world is in the middle of the economic crisis? Every single country is affected by it, and there is nothing strange that growth slowed down a bit.

This is true, road (motorway) infrastructure is very important for the economy in every single way.

He means to ask about the ~25km Subotica bypass road, currently U/C...at the moment, progress is slow but hopefully with better weather conditions ahead, work will intensify:

Couple of photos from December/January:

I'm not sure, I think that there are not any finishing dates yet. I expect the bypass to be opened by mid or late 2013...

When finished (probably in late 2013 or 2014), the whole bypass will be a motorway.

Till the end of 2012 sectors from 1 to 6 will be built as a half profile motorway (like NS-Subotica before the upgrade as you said) and sector 0 will be built as a full profile motorway...

P.S: 120 km/h is a full profile motorway speed limit in Serbia.
