I guess your one of those guys who live in Belgrade, dont really care much about Kosovo or rather anything outside Belgrade, but for someone who does business in Kosovo or travels there a lot, by restricting their access to Kosovo lets see how they live with that.

Is the highway to macedonia and to bulgaria going to be a full profile one from the start or only a "half-profile" for the beginning? I mean the first 20km's that are being built right now, 2 lanes or 4 lanes?

If you do that than majority Albanians from Kosovo would not be able to enter Kosovo since they all have serbian documents.

Mrkonjic visits construction sites in southern Serbia

Quote:
Belgrade, June 26, 2009 – As part of a regular inspection of works on Corridor 10, Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic today visited construction sites on the 21 km long Presevo-Leposavic motorway section in southern Serbia.

Mrkonjic voiced his satisfaction with the works, confirming that this part of Corridor 10 will be completed by July 7, as planned.

Talking with construction workers, Mrkonjic pointed out that overdue salaries will be paid in the upcoming period through banks, adding that the banks are expected to invest part of the money in the Serbian economy by providing favourable loans and therefore help construct another 50 km of road Corridor 10.

The Minister also visited the 16.3 km long Levosoja-Donji Neradovac motorway section, where another €87.7 million is expected to be invested.

This part Corridor 10 is being financed by Greek investors

All through my extended family, I look and see and I can tell you that there is only one person who holds a Serbian passport and that is only for convinience... All the rest of our family holds Kosovo passports.

Cvetkovic opens Presevo to Levosoje motorway section

Quote:
Presevo, July 7, 2009 – Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic has opened the new 21.5 km motorway section from Presevo to Levosoje, located on Corridor 10 and leading toward the Macedonian border.

The ceremony, marking the first anniversary of this government’s term in office, was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic, Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabic, Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic, Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Milan Markovic, Minister for National Investment Plan Verica Kalanovic, Minister of Human and Minority Rights Svetozar Ciplic, Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Skundric, Minister without Portfolio Sulejman Ugljanin and Minister of Telecommunications and Information Society Jasna Matic as well as representatives of local administrations and the constructors.

The works on this section took one year and cost €13.1 million. It is the busiest section on Corridor 10, with around six million passengers and over one million cargo vehicles per year.

The completion of Corridor 10 is in line with the decisions of the National Council for Infrastructure and the government, whose priority is the long-term development of the country.

The new section is expected to speed up traffic. The works were performed by the road construction companies Beograd and Putevi Uzice.

A new, modern border crossing with Macedonia will be put into operation imminently.

19.200 AADT? Quite significant, compared to the part in Macedonia, which has only 4000 AADT north of Kumanovo.
