Đala is not international border crossing. It can be used only by Serbian and Hungarian citizens.

Sector 0 is a full profile motorway. Sectors 1-5 are a half profile motorway and sector 6 is U/C.

As I sad, it's your choice. Both solutions have their advantages and shortcomings. Currently, there are no official finishing dates for the bypass...

Just to make everything simple, that section of E75 is U/C, it won't be a motorway probably (this is just my guess) until 2015 or so.

Actually, no one knows that for sure. Long queues are usual at Horgos border crossing, especially during the summer season. That is the main reason of Y krak construction.

You can probably take some alternative routes to Kelebija or Djala to avoid Horgos and then later on connect to the Hungarian E75/M5... Look it up on Google Maps.

Maybe its a very stupid question but what does U/C mean ???

when will the Y krak be finished ?

I crossed at Kelebija one time.
It was not busy and crossing was quick. Maybe also because it was late September.

Since Hungary is in EU, it can be used by all citizens of EU, EEA and Switzerland.

Belgrade ring road to speed up traffic flow

Belgrade, 3 May 2012 – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic visited the final works on the Belgrade ring road, from the intersection in Batajnica to Strazevica tunnel, and said that this project will considerably relieve the traffic congestion in Belgrade.

Dacic observed that the construction of the ring road began in 1990 and that it will improve the flow of traffic.

Director General of public road company Putevi Srbije Zoran Drobnjak stressed that the new 15.5 kilometres of the ring road around Belgrade on Corridor 10 will be open for traffic tonight.

Drobnjak stated that the 10 kilometre section from Batajnica intersection to Dobanovci will be opened tonight, adding that the section has two lanes and an emergency lane in each direction.

A 5.5 kilometre section from Orlovaca intersection to the ring road will also be opened, including Strazevica tunnel, he specified.

While visiting the construction site, Drobnjak said that €300 million has been invested in the construction of 40 kilometres of the ring road to date and that another €250 million is needed.

Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Milutin Mrkonjic also visited the ring road construction site.

Sector A: Batajnica-Dobanovci:

Dobanovci-Batajnica

Sector B: Ostruznica-Bubanj Potok (newly opened section from 7'10'')

It seems to me that the current status of Belgrade bypass is something like this:

Movie 3 ("Obilaznica BG - Deo1 Ostuznica-Bubanj Potok 4.maj 2012", author: castlechrystal):
Tunnel Lipak (from 1'06'' to 1'39''): why is completely dark inside, with the horrifying shine of light at the end? Does the Serbian authorities know that such traffic conditions are completely unacceptable in the European Union?
Tunnel Železnik (from 3'40'' to 4'12''): here is the shine of light at the end even stronger that at the end of tunnel Lipak.
General remark about the semi-motorway profile: no matter that both lanes have semi-emergency lane (perhaps 1,20 m wide or narrower), such type of "expressway" is the most dangerous one. Proof: from 5'02'' to 5'08'' a car with Viennese register plates (probably angered because of slow tempo (I would say about 60 to 70 kmh) and with no possibility of regular overtaking due to the heavy traffic from opposite direction) was violently and dangerously undertaking where is full line. He almost crushed into a lorry comming from opposite direction.
Petlja Orlovača (from 6'22'' to 7'38''): complete motorway is missing and the traffic is running on the intersection ramp lanes, with tempo about 40 to 50 kmh.
Fortunately, tunnel Straževica is enlighted as in the European Union (as it should be).

And what is bizzare is that all the tunnels have second tube almost finished. So, my advice to the new Serbian ministry of traffic would be: build another lane (full profile) ASAP, instead of Sava river bridge. You will have a regular motorway all the way, instead of this bridge (similar on Croatian A9, where Lim and Mirna viaducts are in only half profile).
