Speaking of Bulgaria, here's an interesting SAT patrol from Nis to Greek island of Thassos via Sofia and Struma motorway, which got a lot of praise

For comparison purpose, they travelled to the same destination via Macedonia:

Question from Poland: how would you comment the performance of Chinese company?

More than OK - I could almost see them completing the bridge as well as the first phase of SMT expressway (some ~20km) ahead of the official late 2014 deadline.

Hopefully, we will manage to get them interested in some other key infrastructure projects - such as the new road & rail Danube bridge at Vinca, part of Belgrade's motorway bypass or the more complex sections of Belgrade-Bar motorway south of Pozega.

Speaking of Belgrade-Bar, its construction has now been deemed #1 priority

Quote:
Construction of Corridor 11 main priority

Belgrade, 18 July 2012 – Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Milutin Mrkonjic said yesterday in a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belgrade Eldar Hasanov that the government’s main priority is the construction of road Corridor 11 in Serbia.

The Ministry said in a statement that Mrkonjic and Hasanov discussed a series of issues concerning the implementation of the agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Serbia and the construction companies "Corridors of Serbia" and "Az Virt".

The two officials exchanged experiences in the implementation of all technical details related to ongoing activities on the construction of Corridor 11 from Ljig to Preljina, where work is performed by "Az Virt".

Hasanov said that cooperation between the two countries on this project represents a unique example of openness and mutual trust and respect.

He also said that the Azerbaijani company is facing some difficulties, but expressed belief that they will certainly be overcome.

He said that "Az Virt" wants to show on the example of Serbia that it can perform work on a high European level.

Mrkonjic said that any doubts and uncertainties will be resolved, and that all obstacles will be removed in the next ten days, especially in terms of land acquisition.

The Minister pointed out that the company "Corridors of Serbia" was formed with a view of operationalisation of the whole job in order to solve the current problems fast, the statement added.

After a short break, there's finally some new activity on the construction site of Batajnica interchange, part of Belgrade bypass road...

Work on Kragujevac-Batocina expressway is also crawling along ... work is currently being carried out on a short ~3,3km section while another 3,7km section is being prepared for start of construction. The entire ~25km long expressway, a crucial link between Serbia's fourth largest city and Belgrade-Nis motorway (E-75) is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2013.

I find this on Putevi Srbije site:

http://www.putevi-srbije.rs/pdf/oglas.pdf

It seems that it will take some time before the construction of the Belgrade bypass sector 6 will start.

Missing part of the bypass goes trough already urbanized area, the environmental impact study is a formality.

OK. Seems it went much better than in Poland. Good for you.

This is 1 hour long, weekly show about traffic, cars and tourism. It is broadcasted on national tv channel RTS.
Every show is available at SAT web page at RTS.
Roadtrips are broadcasted usually in May-July period.

For roadtrips only it may be better to check youtube with search: sat patrola.

Progress update - Yuri Gagarin interchange, part of Belgrade's Ada bridge access infrastructure. Expected completion date: sometime in 2013.

If I am not mistaken sector 6 is in the process to be approved in regards to environmental issues.

Is Belgrade bypass connected (at Straževica tunnel) with the 'old road' going to Bubanj Potok?

Wish Bulgaria was parth of EU shengen agreement, it would be a lot easier to get to Greece from Serbia. That would mean only one border crossing.
