Have not you had those before?

Btw. Will nice girls hand the safety leftovers out on Horgoš crossing this year too? :-)

The new highway is going to be opened probably in October or November but that section is 12 kilometars long.

Have the toll prices changed recently in Serbia? Especially on A1? And will Serbia put the road numbers on their signs?

With the old numbering? I believe the new numbering plan does not have single digit road numbers for non-motorways?

The lowest new non-motorway number would be IB-10 (Beograd - RO border at Vršac).

Correct, I guess 4 is old numbering, since it should be A5 (future motorway Pojate-Kruševac-Kraljevo-Preljina).

RSD 2 billion for expropriation in 2014

Quote:
BELGRADE - A total of RSD 2 billion will be earmarked for expropriation of land along Corridors 10 and 11 in 2014, so the process will not hinder construction works, Corridors of Serbia Director Dmitar Djurovic said on Saturday.

That will clear the ground for contractors to operate in high gear during this construction season, Djurovic told Tanjug, and noted that RSD 1.5 billion have been spent for expropriation purposes by June 17.

Noting that a languid expropriation process and poor projects were mostly the reasons for Serbia's slow drawdown on the granted loans in previous years, Djurovic said that the smooth expropriation is the most important prerequisite for realization of infrastructure projects.
“In 2011 and 2012, small funds were allocated for expropriation, and the main condition for a project to be completed on time is to open construction works with the solved expropriation issue and projects in which deviations are not bigger than +/- 3 percent,” the director said.

According to Djurovic, the ministry of finance is delivering on the agreement, and paying out the funds earmarked in the budget for that purpose.
“We expect that this year all problems on Corridors 10 and 11 will be solved,” Djurovic added.
As announced earlier, around 50 km of highway should be built over the course of this year.

New and hopefully final deadline for long overdue Ub-Lajkovac section of Corridor 11 - November 30th.

Deadline for Ub – Lajkovac section to be extended under reliable guarantees
Tuesday, 06/17/2014|09:43 | Source: Tanjug
sr de

Deadline for construction of Ub – Lajkovac section on Koridor XI is already missed and the Government would extend it only if contractors provide reliable guarantees to prove that they are able to meet contractual obligations, the team of Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure concluded on today’s meeting with representatives of "Koridor of Serbia" and "Putevi Uzice".

As Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure announces, the interest of the country is to finish this section in a short space of time an it is obvious that current deadline, 30 June 2014, will be missed.

The Government is eager to extend the deadline for contractors, "Putevi Uzice" and "Planum", to 30 November 2014, without changes in funding, if they meet their obligations regularly, specified Secretary in the Ministry, Dejan Trifunovic.

The Government will insist on strict inspection and expert surveillance on a ten-day basis, he said.

As Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure claims, one kilometer of the road costs EUR 7 million and during last 2.5 years 12 annexes have been signed to the contract.

What's about the Vladicin Han - Prevalac section? Is the section in service now?
