Does anybody know if the opening of the Mihajlo Pupin bridge had any effect on congestion withing Belgrade and existing Belgrade bridges?

Any suggestions for the best way to get from Belgrade to Stara Planina (the ski resort in Eastern Serbia)?

I've seen on the local Serbian forums that some of the local roads leading up to it from several directions are described in somewhat apocalyptic terms, but some of those posts may be out of date. The Falkensteiner Hotel suggests going to Nis, then E-80 to the M35 turnoff to Knjazevac then doubling back effectively to Kalna..

I was thinking to go Belgrade-Paracin-Zajecar-Kalna...

Thanks in advance!

Here is an alternative via Nis (SAT patrol to Stara Planina, a mountain without tram lines)

And Stara Planina most certainly has ski lifts - although no tram lines!

Would still appreciate any comments on the state of the road between Zajacar and Knjazevac

There is another route you should consider - from Niš go towards Pirot, and a few km before Pirot there is a sign pointing to Knjaževac, so you go there. The quality of the Niš-Pirot road is very good, but there are sometimes roadworks between Bela Palanka and Pirot. The Pirot-Kalna road is not the greatest, but I think it's about the same quality as Kalna-Knjaževac, which most other routes propose.

Is the crash barrier on the right supposed to stop cars from crashing into it?
If yes then it is totally misplaced and way too short
