Excellent, this is so rare, even in western european countries. This is an example to follow!

Yes, it ends abruptly in the middle of nowhere, but that spot is the starting point for a road planned to connect the suburb of Borča to the new bridge, and it is supposed to have a bike-path too.

Yes, like the croatian Sv. Marko tunnel on A1, which is dug under the cemetery. It is said it's haunted because there were so many accidents (until they put jersey barriers to prevent off-the road vehicles to crush on the rocks aside).

Can anyone tell me why a motorway's route cannot be slightly shifted to one side to avoid an obstacle such as those ruins or that 600 year old tree?

As for the tree, it is located a shirt distance from a tunnel portal on one side and beginning of a viaduct on the other. Rerouting the motorway would be prohibitive.

The archaeological remains, on the other side, could be bypassed, but that would mean at least a year or two for the land appropriation procedures. And considering the state of many other archaeological sites in Serbia maybe it's best to bury it and save it from decay. There is no money for conservation of many other more important dug-up sites, this one would certainly be reburied to save it.

Hey fellows, I have a question:
I know that the A2 is U/C from Ub to Čačak but what is going on with the Čačak-Montenegrin border part?
Is it going to be constructed?
Oh, and BTW what is the progress on the "Subotica western bypass"?

A1: Nothing.
A2: Yes, once...
A3: No progress.

Početna pozicija, dokle sam prošli put stigo:

Konačno evo situacije i posle nadvožnjaka:

Paralelni servisni put:

Trava raste u pesku.

Vraćamo se, ovčanski put se ne vidi:

Stižemo do početna pozicije.

Anyway that's shameful, they would never had done that in Western Europe. UNESCO should do something.

Is this the first time that poured curbs are being used? As opposed to placing small blocks of curbs as is the norm.

Poured or 'extruded' or 'slipformed' or 'continous laid' KERBS are a great invention. They are a recent (post 2000) technology in most countries.
