I notice there are a lot of street lights at the modern Serbian motorways. And thats quite expensive. Most other countries in Europe dont have that much street lights.

In Sweden there are not that much street ligts on the motorways like Serbia. Most of them are in Stockholm, Göteborg, Jönköping and Uppsala, but not so much more. And in Germany streetlights on motorways is very rare

And I have always said that Serbia would be quite wealthy if there was less corruption, nepotism, and mismanagement of wealth.

They are more expensive, but this is a long term investment, in few years it will become a real gain as their lifetime is longer and they use less electricity...

In Arad a big number of street lights have already been replaced with LED (thanks to some programs of support coming from Switzerland even if I don't really understand such programs...).

Also in France, they are also pushing cities to change their lights to LED by supporting the cost of changing (it's a program from environment ministry)...

Great initiative. The national highway A1 however, ring road starting from the A11 until Arad Sud has a very strong light, m.i. to strong street lights, and at short distance from each other.

The street lights on the motorways are only at intersections and on the Belgrade bypass. That's not excessive.

I'm guessing the weather is too cold for paving the final wearing course.

Nonsense. The marking is (should be) thermoplastic and I have even seen it applied in minus degrees.

I think Serbia have quite a lot of street lights at the motorways. Compare to Sweden, there are more in Serbia. Belgrade bypass is similar to Stockholm bypass. Intersections outside the cities in Sweden dont have street ligts like they have in Serbia. Even some quite small junctions at the Serbian motorways have street lights. Thats more than most of other countries in Europe.

Of cause they have more street ligts in the UK, Netherlands, and specially in Belgium and Norway. But i think Serbia is comming just after that other four countries

Lot of street lights again! This model is also built by Philips, but this is a model called Iridium. Like the Selenium, you can find a lot of Iridium in Sweden, Poland, Netherlands and the UK

And by the way...when we talking about street lights at the motorways in Serbia

In the past the Belgade bypass had a lot of classic SOX-lights typical for old motorways. That was an old model from Philips called SRM. And they were very nice at the Belgrade bypass. They really made a classic feeling of a motorway bypass

It is now smaller gaps now at the E75/A1 from Belgrade to the Macedonian border. One from Velika Grabovnica south of Lecovac to Polom near Valadičin Han. The other gap is around Bujunovac. But the gaps are smaller and smaller.

I think now they are building around Velika Grabovnica and south. But how is it going with that gaps? Are they going to be finished now in 2016? Its look like that
