Mihajlovic and Hasanov also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in other infrastructure projects, including the construction of bypass around Belgrade, in which the Azerbaijani company Azvirt expressed interest on some earlier occasion.

Mihajlovic also pointed to projects Pojate-Preljina, Belgrade-Zrenjanin and Novi Sad Ruma, which Serbia plans to implement in the following period, it is said in a release.

Belgrad-Zrenjanin motorway is really unnecessary right now. There are so many other highway projects that should be given priority. This is just election bla bla crap.

Hi Serbia,

Is there a date circulating already in your media for potential opening of the 2nd carriageway between Dobanovci and Ostruznica of the Belgrade bypass?I see the "early March" statement in the thread at the top but I was wondering if any speculations of the actual date have appeared? reason asking is I plan to travel on the 10th and this section will solve the Through/around Belgrade dilemma

If you drive a bike or a car, go through (without any dilemma), truck should go around.

And take few days to visit some of our orthodox monasteries, just to change your nick

Going through is a tiny bit faster and shorter but is sometimes more stressful at the current state. Adding 10kms of dual carriageway to the beltway will probably equalise the time and will make the bypass a tempting alternative, especially for rush hour passing

Works on completing the long-awaited Kragujevac-Batocina expressway to be intensified in March...

Quote:
VUCIC: We are taking care of Fiat
Wednesday, 02/17/2016|14:02 | Source: Tanjug

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic assessed Monday that statements claiming the Government was not taking care of Fiat were irresponsible, adding that they would do their best to keep the production at that factory in 2016 on the same level as before.

- Fiat is our most important exporter. I find statements claiming we're not doing anything about Fiat very irresponsible. I alone have had tens of meetings relating to Fiat - Vucic explained in a press statement after he got acquainted with the projects of the City of Kragujevac.

According to him, the Government fights for Fiat every single day and strives not to reduce its production this year.

He underlined that the Government was ready to provide any kind of assistance and incentive, adding that they would keep taking care of Fiat workers and the citizens of Kragujevac.

Vucic also announced that the highway would be finished shortly.
