no, exit is "Izlaz", interchange is "Petlja" and large junction (for example between 2 highways and few local roads) is "Čvor" (Which means knot).

No good roads eh? I think lots of roads in Serbia good rehabilitated and are no very good. There was very dense fog and only due to the perfect markings we could drive between Belgrad and Novi Sad. And I like there is a channel in Serbia that plays Technosets all night, a few years back there was almost only Serbian music, now there are Technochannels, that´s really the way to go.

From Sofia to Kalotina it is a new road with some great and some not so great sections with bad markings, part of the road sofia Kalotina is four laned, the part passing through the mountains is twolaned only. In Serbia the road from the border to Nish is good, it is in good condition and all sections that were bad are fixed now so it´s a smooth ride through the mountains!

What is the traffic level for that stretch of highway? Do you think it should be upgraded to a full motorway, or half? Or leave it as it is for now?

I think, it will be really difficult to upgrade that road to at least half motorway. Maybe some bypass of mountains with many tunnels We´re travelling through that valley by train and we saw that road. It usually look like this

The landscape there is impressive and the road, I saw the road when it was brandnew, it really looked and still looks impressive, it´s one of the best looking roads I´ve seen so far and it is very smooth.

From what I understand the Serbian section of the Niš - Sofia motorway is planned and even started construction in some areas, but I heard there are no plans to upgrade the Bulgarian section any time soon. Maybe our Bulgarian friends have more info.

I think the plans are there but there is no date set when construction should start, usually there´s smooth trafficflow there, on the E-79 there´s dencer traffic.

He means that's a quiet road, while his glorious E79 has busier traffic.
