yeah, many people might think that some of this stadiums could be quite ugly,
specially Estadio Caliente, maybe it doesn't have a very good desing, but, as well
as Arena Indios (ciudad Juarez Stadium), the team that plays there is not very old,
in fact, it was founded in 2007, and both teams don't belong to Primera Division.

I believe is quite good.. A team founded in 2007 and get a new stadium is real nice.. take a look at the teams in argentina.. they are maybe 50 years or older and they have shitty stadiums except for maybe 5 or 6..

Thank you, larsul. The attendance is much higher than I thought! It's really surprising Mexican Primera attracts as many people as Spanish Primera

I think a series of new stadiums being under construction or planned in Mexico will draw much more people to stadiums than now. Let's go for 40K in average attendance like German Bundesliga. Cheers to Mexican Primera Liga

I'm also quite surprised its that high.
That makes it the football league with highest attendance in whole America, right?

Larsul, can you tell me average attendance of Club América?

Well i dont know that, however I know that we have a lot of population, over 100 millions and we have clubs in basically all the major cities and only 3 in our capital city (25 million).. so that pretty much explains it..
plus our clubs are owned by companies so theres a lot of money involved..
America: Televisa
Guadalajara FC: Omnilife
Monterrey FC: FEMSA (owner of Sol beer)
Tigres UANL: CEMEX (second biggest company of cement).
Cruz azul: Large cement company
UNAM: Represnts the biggest and oldest university in Latinoamerica.
Toluca: Owners of Corona Beer.
and so on..

Dont forget that the ticket prices are low here so people can go to the stadiums... very different range than spain or europe..

Considering per capita GDP of Mexico is much lower than those of European countries, you can never say the ticket price is cheap. Mexican people feel burdened economically for going to watch football as much as Europeans do.

club america attendances, are very volatile,, againts the 4 most popular teams (Guadalajara, UNAM and Cruz Azulyou get a sell out or near sell out (105,000) or at least a +80,000 crowd, but against smaller teams,, you get in the range of 30,000 to 45,000.
