Monterrey, México (24 abril 2008).- El proyecto del estadio internacional Monterrey fue presentado esta tarde en las instalaciones del Club Industrial.

Un inmueble de clase mundial con capacidad para 75 mil espectadores está proyectado para construirse en el lecho del Río Santa Catarina y su construcción culminaría en el 2011.

El dicho inmueble estaría proyectado para albergar los partidos de Tigres y Rayados, además de otros eventos deportivos.

César Esparza, director ejecutivo del proyecto y Barry Lowe, director de la empresa HOK Sport, presentaron el proyecto junto a otras personalidades involucradas en la que sería la construcción de este inmueble.

El estadio estará construido sobre un puente para que el Río Santa Catarina tuviera su cauce, contaría con estacionamiento para nueve mil autos y tendría techo retráctil.

Este proyecto es diferente al del estadio de Rayados que se construiría en la Ciudad y por la misma empresa, HOK Sport.

Where is the hotel? Maybe the left one of the facade?
