If you want excessive heat, and can afford it, come over here. It was really bad (highs of 37 to 40 celsius) last week. I was traveling (the 150th anniversary of the first battle of the Civil War was the 21st and I wanted to be there, and since that was a Thursday I road-tripped out to Ohio for the weekend) and my air conditioner's struggling....
We are expecting (have the Weather Channel on right now) highs of 33 or 34 celsius in Philadelphia for the next five days.

I love summer, but that level of heat over extended periods gets to be a bit too much. I've been seeing headlines out of Belgium about the weather over the last few weeks and almost feeling envious. Almost.

It's also interesting to note that the locks (which are located at the point where you zigzag between the bridges at around 2:50) are the Berendrecht and Zandvliet locks, the largest locks in the world

Greetings,
Glodenox

R30 ringroad Bruges (Brugge) and N351, connection N31-R30. Sometimes it was red for a quite long time at some traffic lights...

Never been on that road, only seen it from the square above the tunnel., It's quite a strange ringroad if you ask me. There are much less lanes then I expected for a city like Bruges. Planning on doing the ringroad of Hasselt sometime? I think that one is special as well.

A short video, this time the N377 expressway Stalhille (Jabbeke). A bit overdiamensioned 2x2 road wich leads a littlebit from nothing to nowhere. I think this road was originally planned as a highway or a major expressroad or something like that, who knows more?

Probably something like that 2x2 road near Sint-Truiden, the N718 . This piece of road was ment to be an additional road between the N79 crossing N722,N80,N759 to the N716 to form a bypass around town. It now leads from the N722 to the N759 and in to...a field. It's open for traffic but you might as well bike on it because there is no traffic because the junctions are incomplete, it has no traffic directions leading to it and if you don't know that road you just drive past it...

That doesn't seem to be the case in your video, it still has traffic on it...
