No. Depends on where you are. There are stretches with steel only (also new ones), some with concrete barriers in the median and at the sides, and also with both mixed. You can find everything you want, with vegetation and without

Coolll. For the vegetation, are they placed in between two layers of concrete barriers or vegetation surrounding one layer of concrete barriers?

Usually there is vegetation inbetween the concrete or steel barrier.

Do I need to advice you that Handy does only exist in Germany, in English it is called cellphone or even better (british English) mobile phone.

I think few people in the Netherlands know what either a "Handy" or a "cell phone" is.

How is it with the plans of the new motorways (A22, A26, A20 extension) near Hamburg?

Silly is only the misuse of the word handy. It's a Mobiltelefon or simply a Telefon.

No, for Germany it´s ok to say Handy, I find it upish when someone uses mein Mobiltelefon instead of just being cool and saying mein Handy. But when Germans talk English they better say mobilephone, cellphone is also shitty because it´s American English which is not real English and europeans should better use British English and try to pronounce English stable British like, not American like where every word sounds like squeezing toothpaste.

It's not that easy though... British English is not that easy to pronounce comparing to American English

Well, Germany has a big flow of English words in their language

No, unfortunately British English is very difficult to pronounce but it´s worth the training.

At school I've just learned to say 'Handy', so I use that whenever I refer to my cellphone

I've read on wikipedia that Germans themselves don't really know where the word Handy comes from. Although it seems to be an outdated word now.

Is a "handy" allowed behind the wheel in Germany? I guess not...
