Great flash aerial videos of some Motorways and Expressways currently u/c, videos taken at the end of May

D1 prolongation (13,6 km long section Vrchoslavice – Kroměříž-východ), 7 kms will be opened in 10/2008, 6.6kms in 11/2009

^ To jo, souhlasím, měla tam už být dávno. Za to bude krásná viz tunel a ten zavěšený most plus mimoúrovňové křižovatky v Ově.

Impressive bridge over Hačka brook near Chomutov on R7 Expressway (it will be marked as 1st class road I7 for some time though) passing Ore mountains. Total length 336m, span 106m, height 65m

Nice pics. Never been to eastern Czechia.

You don't see such 4-laned sections often without middle barrier.

Could someone please post the freshest map of the finished Czech Dalnice/Rychlice system?

I'm going to drive to Montenegro via Czech Republic so I've been looking for the best route

Nice work in CZ, I am really impressed about the results.
When is Prague going to have a decent ring road, now I am stuck in city traffic too often

outer ring road should be finisihed in 2012, inner ring road roughly at the same time, there are two special threads dedicated to constructions going on on both ring roads currently

S6 near Karlovy Vary;

R4 south of Praha:

D1 Ostrava - Polish border opened yesterday, 1st of December, no recent pics yet, this is during construction;

We have blue signs on Expressways and green signs on Motorways, I suppose we are not the only one...

my point was that usually if you have green direction signs at motorways that you have green sign for motorway

but it really doesn't matter

Actually... not.

There are GREEN direction signs on BOTH motorways and expressways.

Blue directional signs are on normal roads* and white signs show local targets within cities.

On the other hand, signs indicating BEGINNING/END of a motorway or an expressway are indeed blue.

*Blue directional signs sometimes appear on some expressways/motorways that are not for some reason temporarily marked as such, e.g. the last section of R48 before polish border.
