Anyway video of today opened 23 km stretch
Stunning stuff. Well done.

Adjacent old section had 57.000 AADT in 2005. Current daily figures on new section (which is fitted with surveillence system that among other things counts the passing vehicles) have been about 50k so far.

That's approx 664 mil. CZK per km in average. It's w/o VAT and w/o pre-construction costs.
1€=24.635 CZK (today)

Well, we already have unofficial raw data from automatic counters on the new section and they look really interesting (21.-23.9. ADT). Map below shows section numbers.

Code:
Ring - 2×2 sections
A2	512	43 000
A3	513	48 000
A4	514	55 000
A10	515	86 000
D1 - 2×3 sections
km12 86 000
km8 99 000
As you can see, it's not that bad except the 515 section, 86 000 AADT for 2×2 section is quite a huge number. Widening is not planned at all, so called Radlická radiála is planned to connect eastern terminus of D5 to MO (City Ring) near Smíchov. Construction might start 2013, opening 2016.

What about the eastern part of the M0 ring? When can they start to build? The remaining sections ,as I read on ceskedalnice,cz, aren't so difficult to build as the Blanka section.

How many and how long are these tunnels? I bet it`s still better than eastern D4 (Bratislava ring) with 10 km long tunnel.

Only 2 lanes for R1 seems already like a bad idea

Looks like so, if traffic destiny almost reached full capacity already in first days after opening. Otherwise very good and modern motorway, I think in Slovenia some should learn to do similar.

Do I see some sort of hard shoulder in tunnels? Right side behind the white solid line seems quite wide.

Yes, albeit very narrow one (~1,5 m) and only in 2 lane tubes (descending). The climbing tubes have 3 lanes but no hard shoulder.

Dunno if it was posted already, if not there is a documentary about construction of the southern section coming directly from RSD.

All they can do is reduce speed limit to 80 kmph during peak hours, that will increase the capacity.

in two lanes tunnel there's 1m shoulder, so it's like this:1+0.25+3.75+3.5+0.5=9m (plus pavements on both sides)

in three lanes tunnel it's 0.5+3.75+3.5+3.5+0.5=11.75 (plus pavements on both sides) total width 15m

Aaaaa, shake the magic ball )

Another section will be hopefully 511 Modletice (D1) - Běchovice - connection to D11. Construction might be started in 2012, but more likely in 2013. Then add three years of construction...

What is up with Czech motorway construction in the last few years? I thought R1 between D1-D11 was to be U/C in 2009 with a completion in 2011. Most other long-distance projects (like D3 and D11) also seem to be on hold.

Many projects are on hold since last year or this year because of the crisis... But also because of a huge amount of sections under constructions wtihout covered financing in state budget.

And there is still a big problem with a bad legislation concerning road construction (there is hardly any difference between construction of motorway and a hobbymarket for example - talking about processes and proceedings).
