en charlotte amalie lo primero k te vas encontrar son miles de turistas de cruceros en las peque~as calles de esa ciudad, se congestiona muchisimo de turistas.

Yo le encuentro un parecido a las Islas de Vieques y Culebra. Claro esta, las USVI estan mas desarrolladas pues tienen mucho mas poblacion pero estan mas cerca de Vieques y Culebra que la misma isla de Puerto Rico. Cuando fui a las USVI me di cuenta pq a Vieques y Culebra les dicen las Islas Virgenes Espanolas y pq a las USVI las llamaban el Banco (de islas) de Puerto Rico. Muy bellas islas por cierto.

no le hagas caso jaru, quisiera ella algun dia de su miserable vida conocer a samana el lugar que se convertira en el proximo saint barth, el lugar donde estan construyendo brad pit y anjelina jolie su mansion, donde shakira compro terrenos para una mansion tambien, donde estara el mas nuevo megaproyecto turistico del caribe que se llamara rincon bay........... ella esta envidiosa porque nunca se ha dado la buena vida, todo lo que ella ha visto en su vida del pais ha sido por fotos, jaja, pobre, inmaginate, limpiar ba~os no le deja mucho dinero para viajara ni a su propia isla, jaja

You don't have an idea about how much I learned today from this islands that are soooooo near of us and soooooo far at the same time.

I also discovered that Puerto Rico belongs to the "Archipiélago de las Islas Virgenes", and the USVI were purchased from Denmark by the US in 1917, the same year that we were granted the US citizenship.

I thought that the islands were once known as "Banco de Puerto Rico". Also the islands of Vieques and Culebra are known as the "Spanish Virgin Islands". Thanks for all the info. BTW the pics are great.

One silly question, if Puerto Rico becomes a state, do you think the USVI should be part of the "new state of Puerto Rico"?

I have read a lot about the possible union between Puerto Rico and the USVI to create a new state. It would be awesome, maybe the ferry to St. Thomas will be cheaper, like to Culebra and Vieques

I really doubt they would want to join the US as part of PR,right now they are like they're own tiny nation,if they join PR they would just be 3 more municipalities,plus I'm pretty sure a nice amount of puertoricans wouldn't want them to join us.

BTW-Great pics,do you guys know theres a nice ammount of puertoricans and dominicans in the USVI and that FirstBank,Banco Popular and Caribbean Cinemas(all puertorican companies)have branches/stores there.
