Very well done! Beautiful shots, this really makes me want to go visit Phoenix. I had no idea there were so many beautiful parks in the area. On a side note, does anyone have information regarding the new mall they are planning to build?

Very good job AZPhoenix.
I moved here last year and I am proud to live in Phoenix, I never want to go back to the East coast. you need to add that we have the casinos, and some of the best golf, resorts and spas of america. Old town scottsdale too. I am not sure if I have pictures now, but I will try to find some |

Great thread to begin with! I was told, however, that the new Six Flags is moving from Magic Mountain to the Yuma area. Has anyone else been hearing the same?

Here are a few other things you can do in Phoenix.
Visit a resort. There are a ton to choose from. A few might include the Phoenician: ![]() or The Biltmore: image hosted on flickr ![]() credit View some world-class architecture: Such as Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West image hosted on flickr ![]() credit Or visit one of Will Bruder's buildings, like the Phoenix Library image hosted on flickr ![]() credit ![]() credit Take in some culture: Catch a show at the Orpheum Theater image hosted on flickr ![]() credit Or go view the world's best collection of indigenous art at the Heard Museum ![]() credit If you're into baseball, catch a spring training game image hosted on flickr ![]() credit Hit an auction, like Barrett-Jackson image hosted on flickr ![]() credit image hosted on flickr ![]() credit Go to a golf tournament, like the Phoenix Open image hosted on flickr ![]() credit Or just wait until it cools off: Scottsdale image hosted on flickr ![]() credit Tempe image hosted on flickr ![]() credit . I would love to visit Phoenix someday...but I could never live there. It gets too hot here.
But I'd also love to hear some information about this shopping mall they're building. Or at least give me the name so I can look it up myself. I love huge shopping malls. That's one of the main reasons I want to visit the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, is for the Mall of America.

Hi Bob,
I heard they are planing to build the biggest mall at the City of Surprise near White Tanks Mountain. I don't know the name of the mall yet. I found pretty exciting that nobody know about this. White Tanks Mountain have a beautiful waterfall and a beautiful view of the Phoenix downtown. image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr
