The traffic jams are not due to the missing links. The traffic jams are more due to the density of the motorway network, which should be at least twice more dense to cope with the traffic.

Lavender honey.

Yes, it's delicious. Perfect during winter time.

Yes, it was possible and in fact studied, but it required a short viaduct, a bridge for the river, and a tunnel... all in all it was more expensive and worst for traffic than the current marvel

Yes, after my comment I read they did a preliminary study about that.

Yeah moreover there's already an expressway running through the Landes (N10). And I don't understand how this forest can be considered "uninterrupted", there are many roads, an expressway and a railway running through it.
French people like this kind of exaggerated sentences, like "Loire, the last wild river in Europe" or "Saclay, the last natural spot near Paris".

I like that road when it passes through the spacious Champagne plain (not N4 on the pic below).

I remember those roads of France, like in the photo of [email protected] from the many passages during the years of Tour de France (since 2001)

and also i have a question: in those straight roads i dont quite understand the arrows in the middle of the road, which usually those arrows seems to point on the right mostly

It's pronounced /mijo/... so, like the "y" in yes...

Or, if you prefer, like a Croatian name Mijo, but with the stress on last syllable
