At Marina View Towers we have panels from the same company. Important so that it is the "alpolic/fr" ones. While the plastic wrap was still on the panels, it should therefore read alpolic/fr.
Actually alpolic/fr panels have been used on Burj al Arab and the DXB concourses amongst others.

I don't know what has happened to Dubai! But here is so crowded at the moment, all restaurants are fully booked, there are no taxies to get and the traffic is getting as bad as before the recession 3 years ago!
Every night Sheik Zayd Road is blocked from Mall of the Emirates to Business Bay just like in the old days 2 - 3 years ago.
My friend is here for a weeks holiday and was sadly told that there are 2 weeks wait to get up the Burj Khalifa.
This morning I waited an hour for a taxi. Last night people almost got into a fight for a taxi.

I guess tourism is just doing great here!

in this case we are really not far from 2008, when a MVT studio, which is of a lesser quality than Silverene rented for 82,000 (one check).

The studios in Silverene are not a bad size as studios go and they have a balcony if I recall correctly. They are not much smaller than the 1 beds in Bay Central West.

There are moves in the UK to stop global companies avoiding tax by passing on head office costs from tax free regions. This is one of the reasons Dubai has become so popular, they open an office in an offshore tax haven and raise service charges to the taxed nations until it obliterates the profit, and hence no tax. As all the costs are passed on, the Dubai branch becomes a massive profit centre which is tax free and can then distribute higher dividends to its global share holders. The 2 biggest offenders are Google and Starbucks. Starbucks use Switzerland I believe, but Google is in Dubai.

I have always said Dubai would be ideal for this.
Also for private banking.
Dubai will be the new Switzerland, now EU is closing (or trying to close) Switzerland.
As they already closed Gibraltar.

And the answer to everything in Europe is to put up the taxes.
I guess EU will have to build a Berlin wall around them so nobody can move out...

I always thought this is how Dubai would position itself, as a Middle Eastern equivalent of Singapore. However offshore financial centres need, above all else, effective judicial and regulatory infrastructures. Sadly Dubai falls a long way short of that goal.

Dubai Rents Advance on Population Growth, Prime Areas CBRE Says

Residential rents in Dubai rose 17 percent on average amid population growth and limited supply in certain areas, according to CBRE Group Inc.

“Dubai is seeing higher rental growth this year due to a sustained period of population growth, positive economic performance, increased occupier demand and limited availability of quality units in the most desirable locations,” Matthew Green, head of United Arab Emirates’ research at CBRE Middle East, wrote in a report today.
