well i have to admit, being a dubai person, i am very biased towards towards, and ANTI-every other emirate , especially AD , no offence to AD people

can anyone tell me, as far as prices go, where would be the next cheapest place to buy a studio or one bedroom apartment, after International City? Also do you know what prices they would be,buying off plan? Cheers.

I can personally say the construction quality is terrible

Marina, Palm and JLT construction quality is excellent. Dont know about cheap developments like discovery gardens. I ithink juiced is just being negative for the sake of it. The same construction engineers are being used for Burj Dubai (tallest tower in the world) so i doubt that build quality is bad or unable to withstand the heat! LOL

They are excellent, but a certain 40+ tower beachfront development that hints it is along "Jumeirah Beach" isn't very good quality.

What do you know about the quality of JBR? Please tell me! From the companies awarded the contracts, I would say that they are all good companies, especially ArabTec and Al Habtoor. I have purchased a few apartments at JBR back in pre-launch days when they were selling them for around 699,000 dhs... (now they are around 2.2) I feel they will continue to rise after completion date (which was originally set to Dec 2005) however I am certain these will be delayed to the first quarter of 2006 as I just came back from dubai and they are on the 19th floor, approximately of my tower. The companies are very reliable and there is no real "risk" as far as the companies are concerned (on the JB side). The investment itself, thats a different case.
Does anyone know about the "Executive Tower" plot Y3 by Home Builders. I think this is still waiting approval however I am weary about my investment here and need some more information regarding the Executive Tower in Jumeirah Lake Towers plot Y3. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

no, im weary about the executive tower deal. I am not worried about JBR as i know it will continue to rise. Please advise regarding Executive Tower.

how do you know it will rise!
the buble could burst at any point sell sell sell sell! when they are completed, like the palm j, i have a feeling a lot of people may find that they didnt get quite what they thought they would!

Either keep it and watch it double in price over the next 5-7 years to 4.4
or sell now and put a deposit on 2 new apartments which will both double in 5 years. |

Executive tower is done by home builders. The apartment is way over priced plus the quality is probably going to be crap as its being done by Home Builders. This is not a good investment as there are alot of cheaper and better apartments in JLT than Home Builders.

there is no info on executive tower available yet, at least not for the public
homebuilders? they're also the developers of lake city. hope the tower will look better adnan saffarini didn't do a good job with designing lake city do you have any renders for the executive tower at least?
