Yeah, I believe you can ask the stamp to be placed on a separate sheet of paper, although you have to make sure to ask for that. Or of course, if you can get an extra passport, that's even better

And on the subject of Iran, you know, I have previously supported a tactical strike against its nuclear interest, but recently I thought about it and what you were saying in this thread makes perfect sense. It seems as if the constant direct threats that Iran's president makes against Israel are made with the hope that Israel will decide to attack, and then suddenly Iran can claim that Israel attacked first and it is merely defending itself. But even more so (and again, like you said), it is likely that the regime is feeling lack of support at this time, and such an attack by Israel is an excellent tool to foster the support of Iran's population for the regime. It's a clever tactic, when one really thinks about it

Well, it did boost the left wing/communist front in Israeli politics, thats for sure.

You also have 2 ends of the spectrum supporting Israel - the West led by the USA and the Bloc, led by the USSR. Stalin gave a status quo for uncertainty as to what Israel would become...part of the satellite of Moscow or an allie of England, France and the US.

This support also had an impact on Israel and jews everywhere until the 1980's where many Jews were accused of being lefting and pro-communist... e.g Rosenbergs, Bolsheviks, etc...

I don't know how it works in Iran, but currently all over the world they introduce these new passports with electronic chips. It's a great excuse to go get one of these news ones and claim you lost your old passport. Voila, you've got two passports.

Btw. I don't know how it is in Ben Gurion Airport, but from what I heard Israeli border officials do stamp the visa on an extra sheet on request, when you enter from Jordan or Egypt. I only HEARD that and I can't verify or falsify that information.

Hello All,

A friend of mine (woman) is visiting Israel coming november to write an article for some Dutch publications, payed for by the Israeli Tourist board. The theme of the article is 'dance' but does not have to be about dancing persé. Dance can be a synonim for anything basically which is why she is open to any suggestion. Does any of you have any contacts in Israel that she can use to continue investigating or any idea that might fit the theme dance? The only thing she is not allowed to write about is the Israeli - Palestinian conflict (which has been done over and over and over)

between 20 mm(south) to 1500 mm (north).

Tel Aviv area 550 mm-600 mm .
