Spencer Street Station Tower?

I read about two years ago that the Spencer Street Power Station was being considered by an Asian corporation for development as a supertall tower with a price tag of $1 billion. This however seems to have been abandoned. About a year ago I read that a Russian firm had purchased the site and was removing the toxic asbestos. However since then there hasn't been a word as to what will happen there.

As a skyscraper enthusiast I was very dissapointed that the Eureka Tower had its status as the tallest building in Australia beaten by the damn spire of Q1. Well that really annoys me. I should hope that Melbourne reclaims this title soon.
