In Monterrey Metro Area, San Pedro is an independent municipality, just like South Beach is in Miami, or Santa Monica, in LA; the city is highly developed with many parks, private schools, gardens, and corporations.
It is often regarded as Latin America's most affluent suburb. San Pedro is one of Mexico's cleanest and safest cities thanks in part to its wealthy citizens taking such an active part in their community.
Calzada del Valle, Calzada San Pedro and Gomez Morin Beautiful 3 lane intersecting gardened boulevards. Some of the most exclusive shops lie right here. Joggers can be seen in the mornings. In Christmas time trees are lit by thousands of lights to add splendor to the zone.

Generally, the air is relatively clean, but most of the times you see at least a bit of haze, often due to humidity combined with a bit of smoke, but yesterday the afternoon winds cleared the sky:

Honestly, where in the world do you find mountains like these? Not just the one in the second picture, but the Saddler mountain and "Chipinque". The only thing to complain about this city is the weather. There's no better place to live.
