WOW! That's even more expensive than Manhattan, London or a Tokyo's penthouse! The building is not even look that good for a $20 million. I guess it's all about location, location, and location. However, the price tag is still high.

What do you mean "the whole thing"? It's $20 million for one unit/apartment-- too much of course. The most expensive units in China I heard.

Those are the most expensive units (1200 sqm or so), yes (EDIT: The most expensive units are closer to USD 25 million actually). The cheapest ones (~450 sqm) are about 50 million RMB which is closer to USD 7.5 million (~ €5 million).

In any case, Tomson Group doesn't really have to worry with that location. I guess the units will be sold sooner or later.

US$ 20 million for a unit is possible only in Shanghai, not in Beijing or Hong Kong!
I can't believe that a single unit costs US$25

A Penthouse in New York can reach $40 - $60 million

It's just temporary to fill up the facade (wood?), will be replaced by final cladding.

I just read local newspaper,report that real estate price in China are going down.thomson may have cut down skyhigh price for the condo.
