I havent been to the food court at Grand Gateway, so i cant say which one is bigger.

IFC phase 2 from the RC bar. BTW, cocktails cost about $10 to $15 each at the bar, not as high as I expected based on the view.

does anyone know if the roof of plaza 66 is open to tourists? if not, are there any places in shanghai that are open for tourists with a similar and/or better view?

A good viewing place is 789 Nanjing Lu Bar & Lounge at 65th floor of Le Royal Meridien hotel. It is one minute from people square and you should get the following view:

What are some famous Chinese or Hong Kong brands? I would have preferred more local brands then the usual few.

Having Tiffany there, i think they could have a Chinese / HK jewelry brand settled in too, called CHOW TAI FOOK, 周大福. It might be weird to have one Chinese brand and all other being European brands in a mall though.
