The Jordanian forum is lacking activity. Where are you fellow Jordanian forumers? Yazm1991, the biggest contributor has gone silent? Common, let's keep the Jordanian forum alive!

I'm Iraqi, I lived in Jordan 1994 - 2000...I recently made a trip to Amman (last month), for a relatives wedding, I must say, I was amazed with the transformation building wise, roads and infrastructure in general.

Good for you my Jordanian brothers!

Hey. Please read this and it will explain the lack of activity on this forum. I was a long time user of this forum and contributed daily to the Jordanian forum.

This is my first post in over 3 years.

When the forum was booming in 2006-2009 I was on here daily, people from Jordan and across the world were posting about the amazing projects all across Jordan. However the forum without a moderator was very complex, confusing and lacked organisation.

I contacted the moderators several times asking them to update titles of threads, delete threads etc. as it was blocking up the Jordanian forum - I was ignored.

I volunteered to be the moderator for the Jordanian forum - this was rejected, with them stating "it was not required". As time went on the forum got worse and worse - organisation wise, people could not find threads and we started losing posters from Jordan - many of whom emailed me telling me the forum was hard to navigate and that they could not and would not waste their time looking for threads to post a picture or a comment - many of them worked and could not spend hours on the computer.

I contacted skyscrapercity again expressing my concerns - they did nothing.

Some 5 months later in late 2008-2009 the forum was dead, I was posting updates - with no responses, replies, anything. I was talking to myself.

Only then did skyscrapercity do something - the introduced the sub-forums of Projects and Photos. Too little, too late. We lost the contributors from Jordan and after months of talking to myself I also gave up.

Do not blame the Jordanian posters for this forums lake of activity blame skyscrapercity, I offered time and effort to this forum and got the cold shoulder in return.

I have sadly watched this forum die, which disappoints me greatly.
