Trinis are witty + funny people.

Here are a couple more renderings of buildings in port of spain either underconstruciton, proposed or built
Port of Spain Waterfront

construction as of the September 15th 2006

More of the Government Campus plaza (construction)

More One Woodbrook Place (construction)

British Peteroleum H.C. (built)

Nicholas Tower (built)

West Mall (built)

RBTT comercial HQ (construction)

Piarco International Airport POS (built)

Port of Spain Skyline as of August 2006

Two 17 floor buildings are also to be constructed in DT Port of Spain:
Broadgate building and another Government building.

With all this construction and the mass transit system only now being proposed for 2009, one can imagine how heavy the traffic in already conjested Port of Spain will be.

Yes Bwia is supposed to be closing, I think by the end of the year. A new regional airline which I think the government is tentativly calling Caribbean Airline, or somethine to that effect, will replace it. Sad really.
