Hi TRIN I realy like your city. That new construction is impressive, I hope they finish it soon. I'll love to visit your country someday.

Emporis actually updated their page for port of spain and you can actually check on the progress of a couple of the projects in port of spain.

That's great. I see that one of the building has already topped out. The PoS skyline is starting to take shape, really nice.

VISA Requirements to visit Trinidad and Tobago??? Why?
VISA Requirements to visit Trinidad and Tobago??? Why?
I was on the Trinidad Tourist website http://www.visittnt.com/TT.asp and saw that from February 1st 2007 to May 15th 2007, citizens of most countries will need a VISA to visit. It doesn’t say why they are implementing this. Not only is Trinidad requiring this but it seems like most of the British West Indies is requiring this. Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines as well as Trinidad & Tobago. I say British West Indies, because it seems like it is only applies to majority of English speaking islands which were part of the BWI. Now countries like Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Columbia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Mexico, Switzerland, and Venezuela need a VISA to visit. This doesn’t seem very nice as they (BWI) making it difficult for residents of all of South and Central America to visit. |

According to Emporis the Broadgate building formally proposed to be built in POS is now under construction and has been increased in height from 15 to 26 floors.
This as seen here: http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/ci/bu/s...t=2&ht=2&sro=1 Emporis is usually quite reliable but they have been wrong before, case in point they still have the towers on the waterfront listed as 20 instead of 26 floors. I'm trying to get confirmation on the Broadgate building. If this height increase is true that would make this possibly the tallest building in POS. |
