It is the name unless they've figured out a new one. Saddam was responsible for the having it built (up to now anyways), and obviously that ego maniac named it after himself.

No, I belive are meters.... It has 919ft....

Concentrate on the difference with other buildings, in addition still it is not finished....

It isn't fake. The picture can be found here. But there are two large mosques u/c in Bagdad, and i don't know which is which.

One king-size mosque can be found in Google Earth here. As you can see, this isn't fake at all.

But here we can see another big one u/c.

This one is pretty cool.
The mosque of the "Mother of all Battles"
Four of its minarets resemble the barrels of Kalashnikov rifles. Another four look like Scud missiles, and the similarities are not a mistake.
