They tend to create considerable chaos even with the relatively few vehicles.
there is another road that is used mostly by tourists which is much better shape. however its a two lane road kept in fine condition imo considering that montengro left the other side in shambles. hani hotit is mostly used by freights going to/from podgorica

Great job with those motorways!

Is there any way to cross into Albania by road from Ulcinj in Montenegro? It seems like there is a road missing...

That Mercedes on the last pic has an Italian registration plate. I heard a lot of stories of western European cars going to countries like Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania. Probably it is just a preconception, but isn't that a stolen car?

Italy has historically close ties with Albania, if i remember correctly. Also, a lot of foreign cars are imported to Albania, since they don't have an own brand or even a automobile plant.

I understand. It's just the same thing as 10 years ago in Poland, when a lot of German cars where driving around there.

Just think logical and easy. The owner of this car can also be an albanian, who lives and works in Italy.

Besides that, both countries are only 75km apart. I'm sure there is some kind of ferry service, for instance between Durrės and Bari or Brindisi or something.

Yeah, I've thought of that too. And I know not all Albanians are thiefs. However, the last time that the dutch media wrote something positive about Albania must have been when Caesar was still alive.
