You bet, that it will be only 4-laned. Terrain there is very difficult to build on and traffic quantity doesn't justify 6 lanes.

it will be 4 lane and non-tolled.for sure US gave money for that motorway because they are directly interested in building it having military bases in kosovo.

i was in albania this summer on muriqan-skoder(i visited the castle)-han i hotit.roads were mostly poor(skoder-han i hotit-border) and road signage was almost inexistant.also i saw no sign for skodra castle and had to ask somebody.corruption is on a high scale in albania:border officers wanted us to pay 10euro/person at entering, the one that takes care of the castle asked for 5euro/4pers and gave no paper, at the border at han i hotit the officer wanted 1euro from us.a positive fact:the villages looked way better than what i expected, with many 1-2 storey houses new and in a very good shape.i think that's because most people work in italy and western europe and send money back home.

This is not corruption, it's official. Kind of a visa to enter Albania.

i don't think it's official because when we told the officer we can't afford to pay 10euro/pers he said we should at least pay 10euro/all 4pers.we paid and he didn't gave any paper to us.so i think it's illegal.also on our ministry of foreign affairs web site it's said that we don't need any visa for albania.have u received any paper when u paid that 10euro?smthg else than the paper they give to every car that's entering and that u have to show at exit because this has nothing to do with that sum of money.can u show me a link to a web site where it says it's officially?

I thought it's something like a "car charge".

ok, let's say we should pay, but mustn't they give a paper for our money?this is corruption also.
no, chris, it's not a car charge because he wanted 10euro/pers and there is no vignette system in albania like in montenegro, where u pay 10euro/car ecological tax and they give u a 1year vignette.and when exiting at han i hotit the officer who requested 1euro and got just 50cents from us said 'uuuuuffff, the bank won't allow me to change these 50cents'.

That's cool. Maybe I'll visit Albania sometimes if it's for free.
