You werent expecting this thread to be the source of information on Albania's Highways, were you?
There're currently 4 highways with 4 lanes under construction:

.1 Milot - Rrëshen segment
.2 Lushnje - Fier segment
.3 Vlorë - Levan segment
.4 Tirana - Elbasan segment (under concession)

The first segment is part of Durrës - Kukës Highway, one of the biggest highway projects in the Balkan Region which includes a 5 km tunnel. Funds for the completion of the project have already been secured.
There're also plans to build a 6 lane highway that connects Albania's 2 largest cities, Durrës and Tiranë. A 4 lane highway already exists.
There are also a bunch of other highway projects in the South already approved. Fier - Tepelenë segment, a 4 lane highway is expected to start construction very soon.

Definitely not this one...

Main road between the border of Montenegro, and the city of Shkodër, just a couple of days ago...

It doesn't look too good I would say, but....in the course of time they will also have their first motorway...when the time comes......

It's actually Drilon, a tourist village in Pogradec. That sign is very old and most probably it has been changed.

Northern Albania is the least developed in terms of Infrastructure, Economy...etc
From what i understand, Ministry of Transportation has already collected funds for a new highway link with Montenegro because the existing road link is in shambles.

Oh come on,"developed" west, you dont have rural road,or what? This road is perfect for the traffic it withstands. Dont be ashamed Albania!

Yeah, that road looks ok. Also the bridge in the other photo is called "Ura e Bunës" (Buna Bridge) and it's getting a major transformation starting this September.
We've made solid progress considering how bad our Infrastructure was 15 years ago. It takes time to develop the whole road network and with a lack of funds it becomes more and more difficult.

Other highways currently under construction:

Librazhd - Qafë Thanë, part of European Corridor 8
Levan - Tepelenë, part of the Adriatic-Ionian highway
Tepelenë - Gjirokastër, part of the Adriatic-Ionian highway
Shkodër - Han i Hotit, part of the Adriatic-Ionian highway (links Montenegro's Border, construction has started)

I already noted, Fier - Tepelenë segment is expected to start soon.

I just came back from Albania as part of a bus tour group, and the roads there were mostly rather poor. We drove from Tirana to Greece, and the trip took more than 4 hrs, and at least half of the roads we travelled on were basically dirt roads that were being turned into paved roads. That particular trip was very dangerous for a bus, but maybe in 10 years time the roads would become safe.

BTW, I think Albania has the highest percentage of Mercedes Benzs considering its carpark, on the whole world!!!! Beating even Germany, or the Gulf!!!

Every road was a dirt road once...Can Shanghai blame any other city for not having maglev?

Yeah but it looks like some French local road, instead of a main road. But the pavement is okay.

Well i don´t know but the Motorways showed here near Tirana doesn´t look so much like a real motorway, but it´s better than any 1X1 at least, but it looks way too narrow i think, but that doesn´t matter. And 7t, why are you always so upset i don´t get? We in Bulgaria have bad roadinfrastructure aswell.

It surely is in very good condition but it is very narrow for a national road IMO.
