Is that supposed to become 2×2? The road surface on the last pic seems way too narrow for that.

Again, there's no such motorway. You're making misinformed comments.

Note that those wikipedia articles could also be written by people like Radi (which we had once ), and it doesn't give any source. But I hope it's true though

The motorway we're speaking of is called Durrės - Morinė. Kosovo is a different country with a different road network.
Calling it by that name is no different than saying Durrės - Skopje Motorway or Vlora - Thesaloniki Motorway...

Wikipedia can be useful to collect info, but you need to re-check it afterwards

It's only a technicallity that Albania in building up to the Kosova border and no further, the rest of the link to Prishtina will be financed by the Kosova government.

Glad i could clear that up for y'all. Now let's see more pics

^ Right

As far as i remember the first intention for this motorway was to link Prishtina to Durres not to link Durres with Kukes. This intention was made clear during Majko government hence the initial Majko tax revenues for this motorway. Either way both terms are correct so there is no reason to make a hissy fit. If Kosovo was pursuing the constructions at the same speed we wouldn't have this discussion.

The idea for constructing a road from Durres to Kukes, and beyond that to Pristina, was originally put forward by former Prime Minister Pandeli Majko in 1999.The vehicle tax which he introduced in order to finance the road became known as the "Majko Tax". Source

Glad to clear it up as well.

I always liked Majko. Too bad that he was always under the shadow of Nano and was only allowed to govern after Nano failed to keep his 14858th government in power.

Majko served when Kosovo war just started so to him it was very personal.

Thats one of the reasons why he wanted to build a highway to Kosovo. Back then it was impossible. Given that Albania just came out of civil unrests from 97, the funds were not there.

Nonetheless the idea for a highway to Kosovo started then when refugees were pouring in. I doubt Kukes has anything economical to offer. It was mostly to connect our countries.

Pandeli is an orthodox name...and to have an orthodox name doesnt mean that u are slav or Greek,30% of Albania's population is orthodox and P.Majko was born in Tirana ,but his origin is from Gjirokaster.
