Wow I really like pic#6 Vizag has the potential to be one of the best city since it's near the beach and make it beautify by building lot's of skyscrapers, good roads and etc.

Very nice pictures. I didn't believe it was India until i saw picture 12. Vizag reminds me of Rio De Janeiro, a very beautiful city.

How is the Tourism Industry in Vizag?

Tourism Industry in Vizag is still not much. A lot more is desirable. Esp, more private ventures have to come in.

There is a vast potential though... There are long, clean, beautiful beaches, there are hills, there are several thousand years old (Borra) caves, There beautiful vallleys with several horticultural gardens (Araku valley), there Buddhist historical sites, there are several Hindu religious temples and so on...
but, a lot more needs to be done in terms of public emenities, hotels, travel, trekking, boating, sailing etc.

Yes it has the potential but I don't know why any developer or big companies rope in to change the face of the city since it already has good infrastructure and they should build Highrises near the beaches such as Offices/IT and etc. Plus it can attract more tourism as the beaches are so clean. When I saw the pics first time of Vizag I was completly amazed.
