I'm very adept at drinking cups of tea, if that's any use to anybody...?? I know how to mix cement too and I have a very pleasant telephone manner.

Would any ambitious Project Manager really want this dreadful project on their C.V.?
Damning CABE reports Here Here and Here ....together with many pages of discussion on these forums, leading to a general consensus that this project represents the worst proposed highrise projects in Greater Manchester and possibly one of the very worst of the current crop UK-wide too. Cheap, grossly and cynically over developed resulting in an exceedingly poor piece of urban design and architcture; not a nice place to live, not a nice place to be and a poor investment compared to many other similarly priced schemes. http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...243356&page=22 Finally, a damning skyscrapernews article on the project Here

Better watch what we say nowadays girls and boys.
Our friend from Dandara may be having words with their lawyers. Anyway Ross - its nice of you to ask but this forum is full of gobby layabouts who havent got two O levels between the lot of em so you may be barking up the wrong tree.

What's all that nonsense about lawyers Longtongue. If people don't like it, they have every right to say so. There's no law against it. We're just following your example.

Two things that man. 1. Can't believe for one minute Dandara haven't already got a project manager for their Chapel Wharf development. 2. In all seriousness, would Dandara really try and find a project manager via the SSC Manchester Forum? I think not. I think someone/everyone at Dandara is having a laugh at our expense. It's Friday, payday and it's a 'let's get back at the SSC Manchester forum'. Call me cynical. Prove me wrong Ross. (any new renders?) |

They have advertised this role recently (cant remember where i saw the ad - in the AJ i think) and Ross really is the head of recruitment.
That isnt to say someone is having a bit of a laugh because it really is desperation to come looking on here for quality candidates!

I'm professionally qualified to tell them how to stop drug addicts hanging around at the bottom. I won't though.

Do you honestly think that they are going to redraw their business models and long term plans because a handful of nutters on an obscure forum somewhere get a bit uppity about something they are doing?

maybe andysimo123 could apply? Would be a great project to cut his teeth on before going into development himself.

Anyway, why don't Dandara go through a specialist project management consultancy? This is too big a project to do in-house.
