it is really hard to really enjoy chongqings beauty if you know all about the lost potential in the past years. it has such a beautiful skyline, but there is so much more that chongqing should have in it! :p

The hills, the rivers and the sheer number of buildings makes it's skyline awesome.

Lots of cities have projects that didn,t get built or got downscaled.

I think Chongqing looks awesome anyway.

Probably the greatest skyline ever in a city that no one outside China and this forum have heard about (no insult intended)

Chongqing's cyberpunk charm is cool. But as long as they don't fulfull the promise of redeveloping Jiefangbei as an impenetrable ultra dense supertall area the we will feel disappointed.

I like the areal shot. It gives a good overview of the developing CBD of Chongqing. Quite impressive aready.

I was very surprised the flight path on landing passed right above the Jiefangbei CBD! Book a left window seat if you are flying into town and hope the winds work in your favour.
