I don't get that twirly interchange thing, what is it interchanging?

Anyways, I love the look of Japanese highways. Japanese and French lane markings are the best, imo.

Japan has built quite a number of neat highway designs incorporating the surrounding buildings. Quite ingenious engineers over there.

Tokyo area;

That's some excessive road markings in Tokyo. They seems to have the hots for that.

Check the huge area Tokyo is;

Tokyo versus New York

Tokyo versus the Netherlands

yes, but new york metro area is larger than how appears in satellite pics because of urban sprawl, if someone looks carefuly to the pic probably will notice a fog-like resolution on long island, half of new yersey and among long island sound in connecticut; those areas are new york's outer suburbs ..

so probably in terms of land area tokyo and new york equals each other but because tokyo is much dense than new york it wins in population count by 35.000.000 vs 23.000.000

sorry for thr OT and eventual eglish errors

That's an on/off ramp, right? There's "just" one such expressway in Japan, if I'm not mistaken.

japanese express ralatively small and narrow, but not "rush" most of the time.
