In 2008 they had 7.641 km. Today is the same?

Nishiseto Expressway

That's right, three subsequent suspension bridges, the only such occurrence in the world. These are 3 out of 10 bridges that form the Nishiseto Expressway between Honshu and Shikoku.

Hi,

Since I don't speak japanese, could you guys tell me when is going to open the last portion of the C2 ring road in Tokyo and how advanced is the tunneling?

I'm talking about the portion between the newly open (2010 I think) ohashi junction close to Shibuya and Sinagawa.

See here : http://tokyo-smooth.jp/sinagawa/deploy/index.html

Thanks.

Japan has some uniqe road markings. What do white and yellow lines signify in Japan? Here you've got yellow-white-yellow for center line, but I've also seen white only and yellow only, both as middle line and line between lanes going the same direction.

Agree. Yet can anyone answer - how does Japan maintain to keep it always that shiny white?

Regardless, damn that looks like fun. If ever I decide to go on a JDM roadtrip in the future, then this I should drive on this one

yellow lines mean no passing. This includes yellow line separating traffic lanes in the same direction. I know because I got a ticket 2 years ago for it!

There's no color designating opposite traffic flow like in the USA.

Ken-O Expressway, Hachioji

Just when you thought an expressway interchange couldn't be more complicated...

Maybe not complicated geometrically, but surely difficult to build.

Amazing. I'm planning a trip to Japan and expect to drive there but it requires an International Driver's License to rent a car. Never thought international driver's license is so useful.
