RMZ MALL UPDATE - RMZ GALLERIA
image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() Project Overview: RMZ Galleria, the first retail venture by RMZ Corp is also the sub-continent's first green mall. RMZ Galleria is a mall unlike any other. Not only in terms of size, enviromental friendliness and design but also in terms of concept, location and connectivity. This 1.1 million square feet mall is the first truly destination mall in Bengaluru. The location is conveniently accessible. Thanks to superior connectivity and upcoming Bengaluru metro rail project. The newly developed airport, just a few kilometers away adds to further advantage. When RMZ Galleria will be completed by December 2009, it will not only cater to the needs of residents in the primary catchment areas of Hebbal, Sahakaranagar, Bytharanyapura, Amruthahalli, Yelahanka, Devanahalli but to the whole of Bengaluru as well. Project Highlights: - Excellent location - Scalability option - Large and efficient floor plates - Excellent car park ratio Project Amenities: The amenities at RMZ Galleria would be one of the best of any mall in the country. For the first time a mall will have an extensive range of services that will help a shopper spend more time without having to worry about chores he needs to undertake. The amenities include bill payment counter, launderette, dry cleaner, repairs, ATM's, banking services, money changer, cloak room, kids care center, baby feeding room, grandparents corner, concierge, lost and found, phot/print shops, florist, internet cafe, business center, travel desk, tailor, doctor and medical assistance room. Location Advantage: RMZ Galleria is located about 18 Kms from the new international airport coming up in Devanahalli and around 17 Kms from CBD. This way it bisects the two important destinations of the city. Also Yelahanka is an important residential area of Bengaluru with many new developments on the anvil. Being at the exact central point between the CBD and new airport has its advantages. Many developments are bound to come up to take advantage of this equidistance. Including hotels and many corporate offices as well. The national highway No. 7 runs very close to this mall allowing people to commute from long distances to visit the mall. yes VVR, Richards Town is losing its old Bangalore charm... I am not sure whether majority of people who live in and around Richards Town will prefer having malls replacing old colonial style bunglows...

My heart bled when I saw the bungalow get demolished
Quote:
I reckon that there are about 10 of these bungalows left in Richards Town. The one across Cookson from the mall is maintained beautifully. The one at the other end of Cookson is a beauty. |

Bluru is undergoing a tremendous change for the better... if only the roads and mega infra projects come to fruition quicker..
Many hallis have wild development without the roads being properly tarred. Pace of private development outstrips the public one. I saw a road in an internal development area laid in 3 days, road rollers, excavators, army of folks working round the clock. If only the public govt ones worked like these outfits, Bluru roads can be transformed overnight. BTW Any updates on malls near the Whitefield area like Forum of Prestige. I am always surprised that the number of malls being built may not justify the demand side for shoppers. The latter always surprises me, no mall is empty and crowds throng the places. Yeh hai India. The unofficial stats on money supply outstrip the official ones. Quote:
