We have just had the most epic storm here in Manchester. Thunder, lightning, wind and very heavy rain! Sounded like a monsoon. Amazing

I've apparently been quoted in my local paper because of a residents meeting I attended the other night in a work capacity. I don't know what's been quoted and nobody told me any of the press were there. Not happy

Bloody trains! Waited for 40 minutes at Westcombe Park station for one. The announcer kept saying it was delayed, delayed, delayed. Then it just got cancelled along with all the other trains on the line. Made me miss my job interview
 On the plus side, it is great being middle class and unemployed. Just sit around and eat olives all day. Second best salty snack, or so I hear. I'm just not so inclined to try the other one  At least I have a part time job to keep me going. Wouldn't want people to think I’m one of those bastards who lives off the state. |

I went all sneezy, puffy-eyed and red when the sun came out a few days ago and it subsided when it went rainy. But I've woken up today with all those symptoms again and the weather ain't all that at all.
