I don't think I can be bothered with this forum anymore. There's just too much aggression, personal insults, trolling and nationalism. I mean what's it all about, seriously? I've got better things to do, frankly.

It can be a laugh if you have the right attitude. Some tiresome subjects and personal grievances are spilling out all over the place though.
You're a mod so I can understand you finding it harder to have a laugh. CharlieP smells of goat poo |

I could use a break from the site as well. I'm letting everyone get on my tits and posting angrily. Doesn't help that the site is spammed to death with jerseyboi shit.

Well it's the opposite for me. Everyone at work makes me burn up inside with anger but coming on here and having a giggle and checking out the latest on everything makes me feel better. Don't disappear for too long.

It's always been a balancing act for me between the people who I really enjoy reading and then the side who annoy me massively.

I've been posting less and less over the last six months or so. I tend to just view threads and not actually post on them. The constant city vs city bullshit and the mundane and pointless threads in the skybar is getting on my nerves. I'll probably become more of a lurker from now on.

I haven't got anything better to do though, unfortunately. I've got a cat. He likes to shit everywhere. That's about it. So if you need me I'll be on here talking expertly about Windows 8, even though I haven't got a clue about Windows 8. |

So on Facebook everyone is doing their 'Timeline review' ..thing, showing everyone how eventful and joyous their year was. I thought I'd give it a go (not to publish it, just to see what it came up with)..
Oh dear God!! Not that it should come to any surprise to me, but my year on a personal level as been a complete and utter waste My 'highlights' were the dates I lost 2 jobs, a picture of a cloud and a picture of a funny potato. That was pretty much it! (There was my album from my London trip in August, the only saving grace). I know it hasn't been the best of years for me but seeing that made me feel utterly dejected. At least the positive I can take from it is to ensure the same thing doesn't happen next year, so I better start living a little. |

Well if you do decide to jack it in, can you keep posting videos on my Facebook wall as most of them are quality - dinpy is the name, sarcasm is the game.

I just came home from the hospital. Earlier, around 12:23am I had some pains in my shoulder, neck and jaw, so naturally I thought I am done for, heart attack or cancer of the jaw or ruptured spleen... I thought. So an ambulance came and they attached sticky things to my chest and did an ECG reading, they said my heart was normal, but they took me to the hospital for further tests. After some X-Rays, blood tests and urine tests they told me I had gas. FFS Gas?
![]() They gave me some constipation medicine, some IBS medicine and a bullet shaped suppository thingy. I'm glad I read the label for the suppository medicine as I was just about to swallow it.

Exactly. All it means is that you haven't stuck every small inconsequential detail up for public consumption. I'd say that indicates more of a life than you give it credit for. |

I just read page 2 of the Bradley Wiggins thread, and this
now makes a little more sense. |

The good thing to come out of all of this is that I might not get quite so irritated when reading the Weather thread.
