Chez G's is a bit posh for me these days. I have settled on my new local pub. The Three Ferrets. Local beer for £1.80 and Rattler Cider for £2.50. Spent half of the Easter break in it.

Here are the reviews from Beerintheevening :

* locals locals place, unwelcoming, dark dingy full of drunks
* Horrible Place. AVOID!!!
* Ignore other comments as you will not be welcome if you are a po faced twat but ok otherwise
* crap rubbish or shite they all fit
* Full of tattooed drunks spoiling for a fight. Stay well away!.

I thought it was pretty nice. Down to earth

Better than that wanky tourist trap 'The Sloop'.

Today I received an unsolicited loan offer from Lloyds bank. How dare they offer me personal credit while with-holding it from businesses all over the country

They could be using that money to get some skyscrapers built. As part owner I wish to vent my disgust.

My dad had a serious car accident a few days ago. Been a very stressful and nervy few days but thankfully it looks like he'll fully recover. Thank god.

I've had many, many arguments with my dad in the past thus leading me to hating him but events like this really makes you think otherwise.

I met someone on the bus today. And she is pretty. She lives in the city. She wants to see me.

She's gotta be loaded to have her own pad in the city centre. She's 23 as well, just out of uni (whereas I'm just going into uni...). First bit of interest I've had in months. Gives me a nice warm feeling in me tummy.

It was a bit of both. I was the last on the bus, walked up the stairs to the top deck which was quite full. I looked over in her direction and she looked at me so I sat in front of her. Then I ended up making conversation with her when I turned around to her to complain about some noisy family with uncontrollable kids. She smiled, I smiled. I didn't even need to ask for her number which is a very positive sign. Things are on the up! I can smell it! It smells like.... oooh I need a shower actually.
