You live at least 50 km from the sea, and probably 100 km from any cliffs of a decent size. She should have told you to jump in front of a bus.

I was so ultra mega knackered last night for some reason I eneded up going to bed at about 9.30 and then sleeping through my 6 oclock alarm call this morning. I woke up at 7 and had to make a mad dash for work.

No idea why I am so zonked at the moment. I feel absolutely shattered even after all that sleep. I wasnt particularly late on Saturday - went to be about midnight - but again didnt wake up until gone 10 the next morning. i never sleep past 7.30 even at the weekends! Apparently my son had been trying to wake me by making loads of noise around the room but I just didnt stir.

Every morning I get woken up at about 5 and feel as though I can get up in an instant. Obviously I don't, then by the time the 7-o'clock radio-4 alarm goes off I just want to stay in bed, and usually it's well after 8:30 I finally pull myself out of bed.

I have that too. I think its something to do with sleep cycles.
A couple of times last week I woke up at around 4.30am and felt absolutely fine. I even considered getting up but it seemed ridiculous to be up so early. After falling asleep again, my alarm went off at 6 and I felt utterly fucked. Exhausted to the point where I could barely drag myself out of bed. It felt like I needed another two or three hours at least.

Bizarre - and incredibly annoying!

Yeah. I hate that. I make sure I only set one alarm now with a 2 minute snooze interval.

Use to set one at 5 and the other at 6. Now I just keep to the 6 o'clock one.
