Western suburbs of Paris : Versailles

The last week I took a suburban train at Saint Lazare to la Defense, but due at a oversleep. I arrived in the terminus Versailles Rive Droite. A good ocasion for take photos.

Unlike most suburbs of Paris, Versailles is dominated by old buildings. It is because Versailles was a city before the development of Paris suburbs at the end of the 19th century.

A bit boring...

More ethnicaly diverse that I thought, but this suburb is too traditional, more than the 7th arrondissement of Paris.

Big prejudices. There's another one which says that in Clichy all the young dress like they are constatly going to a break dance school, even those studying law!
Anyway, Versailles is not very attractive as a city, but the Chateau is obviously worth seeing.

karakuri, I study in the versaille-saint quentin university, I frequently transit through the city and I also hapen to go from time to time to the shoping mall.

And yes indeed, young people over there do indeed dress like they are all going to law school ...

Looks like a pretty ethnically diverse city, didn't expect it when I read "suburb of Paris." Damn the stereotypes to hell!
