It's outdated in other places as well. As of now, there is motorway all the way between Copenhagen and Göteborg (via Malmö) for example. Many of the "gaps" in the Malmö-Stockholm motorway has been filled as well.

The E 6 from Oslo to the Norwegian-Swedish border is motorway aswell. Also the E 18 motorway on the other side of the Oslofiord is far longer than shown here.

And how it will look like: (It will have 3 intersections, 1 crossing and 2 pedestrian bridges)

^ Interesting. You (will) have some a bit unusual interchanges; why are there trees between some oncoming and offgoing interchanges? Is there roundabout around them?

I wonder what happens on road infrastructure the next few years. I read in the newspaper Latvia, Bulgaria & Estonia have the highest economic growth in Europe, all over 10% per year.

I think they are something like half-roundabouts.

It was over 10% last year, this year it'll be around 7,5-8%, but it is expected to drop to 4,5% next year, at least in Estonia, so the future is not THAT bright, but still OK. In 2008 state budget will be around 20% bigger than this year.
About road infrastructure: Main roads are more or less OK already so I think more attention will be paid on local roads and city streets(hopefully).

A short video of some latvians speeding on Pärnu-Tallinn highway.Filmed on 5th November 2007.

Anyway, Estonian police can be very strict when necessary. In summer, 2006, some dutch "race" went throught Estonia, "The challenge 2006", I believe. Estonian police stopped them, fined them and even put 2 guys to prison for 10 days, because they didn't stop at police orders and drove 120km/h within city limits.

Icy roads can be dangerous. Fortunately the driver came out of the car unharmed.

If somebody didn't recognize the car, it's Toyota Avensis.

Tallinn's road network needs improvement and that's why there are plans for several multi level intersections. Here are three of them:
1. Haabersti intersection.

2.Ülemiste intersection(Sorry for bad pictures)

3. Russalka intersection. This intersection will have a tunnel, because it has a park on one side, and the Russalka monument on the other side so a viaduct would not have been possible.

Tartu's bypass is going to be reconstructed. Construction should start at the end of 2009 or at the beginning of 2010. At the moment the bypass is a 2-lane road with level crossings(mostly roundabouts) After the reconstruction it will be a 4-lane road with grade separated junctions, except 2 roundabouts at both ends of the bypass. Besides that, Tartu-Elva road will be converted to an expressway also.(From which I only have this plan: http://tarturoad.estdan.ee/files/Doc...splan10000.pdf ) Some renders of the bypass:
Riia/Riga intersection:

Viljandi intersection:

Airport intersection:

Crossing over the future Rail Baltica:

Uhti roundabout:

Crossing over Tõrvandi road:

Öseli intersection:
