The tower got me thinking. On the show ''One day at a time", the original tower was quickly shown as was downtown from the air. Would like to see a past picture and present from that angle.

I have noticed that the top 3 levels are much brighter at night than the other levels, is this due to the interior curtain wall being removed? Will the whole tower eventually be that transparent at night?

Probably. But as you know, they probably won't leave that many lights on all the time. Possibly an oversight by the workers. Or they were working late.

I hope they saved the receipt for the lighting of the building!!! It is terrible and barely visible even when standing at the base of the tower!

Nope, someone's been boosting the saturation. :-)

This has become one of my favorites in the city, but I like the old lighting scheme much better.

I heard on the news that the lighting will be changing to green because of it's new name (Regions Bank) Did anyone else hear this? It will definitely stand out even more, but it will be interesting to see if it looks good.

That's a good thing. If anything it gives the poor saps responsible for installing the blue lighting a chance to redeem themselves. Hopefully more than 90% of the lights will work this time around! Such a shame too, this building looks truly fantastic after all the work they put into it.

I didn't hear that, but it doesn't sound too logical. Why wouldn't that have been planned from the beginning? If the new lighting system is an LED system it will be incredibly expensive to replace, if it isn't LED it is probably just a matter of changing a color lens.

I also don't like the idea of green and hope that we keep the familiar cobalt blue in our skyline. The green I always associate with bank of america plaza in dallas.
